About

About this evening

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and supportive space within the mosque where mothers can connect, build friendships, and nurture a love for Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ, in both themselves and their children. Just as a bird carefully builds its nest with patience, care, and dedication, motherhood is a journey of creating a safe and nurturing home. Every branch of a nest represents the values and qualities we strive to instil within our children faith, kindness, resilience, compassion, and love. No nest is perfect, and no mother is expected to be. As the well-known African proverb says, "It takes a village to raise a child." At Haya Nest, we aspire to be that village a community where mothers support one another, share experiences, and grow together in faith. We are committed to fostering a welcoming environment free from judgement, where every mother feels seen, supported, and encouraged. Together, we can uplift one another, strengthen our families, and raise the next generation with love, faith, and confidence.
