Why this course
Most of us learned the ninety-nine as a list to be recited. The scholars treated them as a curriculum: each name a door into how Allah relates to His creation, and each one carrying a claim on how a servant lives.
Sheikh Ibrahim takes them in groups — the names of mercy, of power, of knowledge, of provision — reading from al-Ghazali and al-Bayhaqi, and closing each session with what that group of names asks of the person who has just understood them.

Sheikh Ibrahim Nassar
Imam, Masjid al-Noor · Lakemba
Sheikh Ibrahim has led the congregation at Masjid al-Noor for eleven years. He studied usul al-fiqh and hadith in Damascus and Amman, and convenes the mosque's Wednesday evening halaqa. His lectures stay close to the text and short on flourish.

Attend enough of the classes and you finish with a certificate. Miss more than a couple and you are welcome to sit the term again at no charge.

Questions
Common questions
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. Registration closes once the cohort fills, and the reminder, plus any change of time, goes to the email you register with.
Will it be recorded?
Most lectures are recorded and the link goes out to everyone who registered, usually within a week. Course sessions are recorded week by week so you can catch up if you miss one.
What if I need to cancel?
Email us and we'll refund a paid ticket up to seven days before the program begins. Inside seven days we can move your seat to the next date or the next cohort.
Is there prayer space on site?
Yes. There is a prayer area with wudu facilities for both brothers and sisters, and we break for salah at its time.
Is there parking?
There is free street parking around the venue and a small on-site car park that fills early. The nearest station is a short walk, and on busy nights we'd recommend it.
