These terms are between Barakah Bookings, based in Sydney, Australia, and the organisation whose account is being used. Creating an account means agreeing to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a masjid, institute or committee, you are confirming you are allowed to.
01
A place to build program pages, sell or give away places at them, check people in at the door, and email the people who came. We provide the software. We do not run your program, and we are not a party to the arrangement between you and the people who book with you.
02
Free programs are free at any size. When you sell tickets, our fee is six per cent of the ticket price plus one dollar per ticket, in the currency you sell in, taken out of the payment as it settles. Card processing is included in that. There is no monthly charge, no setup charge, and nothing at all in a period where you sell nothing.
If we ever change the fee, account holders are told by email before it takes effect, and it never applies to tickets already sold.
03
Payments run through Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account, money is paid into it rather than into ours, and Stripe pays you out on its own schedule. We never hold your funds. Using Stripe means accepting Stripe’s terms as well as ours, and Stripe decides questions of eligibility, verification and payout timing.
04
We do not refund our fee, and we do not operate a refund policy on your behalf. Whether an attendee gets their money back is between you and them, set by the refund policy you publish on your own page.
Where a booking is cancelled through the link in an attendee’s confirmation email, the payment is returned to the card it came from automatically. Any other refund is initiated by you through Stripe.

06
Use the platform to sell anything unlawful, to mislead the people booking, to send email to people who did not agree to hear from you, to attack or overload the service, or to resell it as your own product. We can suspend an account doing any of these, and we will say why.
07
Your content, your pages, your logo, your copy and your contact list, remains yours. You give us permission to host and display it so the service can work. The platform itself, the software and the Barakah Bookings name, remains ours.
08
We work to keep the service running and to give notice before planned maintenance, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. If something breaks on a night that matters, contact us and a person will answer.
09
Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees we earned from you in that period.
10
You can stop using the service whenever you like, and you can export your contacts and bookings before you go. Programs already published stay live until you take them down, and money Stripe still owes you is paid out on the normal schedule. There is no notice period and no exit fee. We may end an account that breaks these terms, and we will give you a way to get your data out first unless the law prevents it.
11
If these terms change materially, account holders are told by email before the change takes effect. They are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. Questions go to salam@barakahbookings.com.
